I made an exhibition model. There are six rooms in total. Each room will show one or two works. This is a video, you can roughly see the layout of each room. Then I will introduce how the works in each room are displayed.
Room 1
I will put a TV on the wall of the first exhibition hall, and then an experimental video will be played inside. This video is a combination of some of my animations and videos to tell the purpose and theme of my entire exhibition. A writing device will be placed on the wall on the right, made of a lamp tube, which will glow white. Below is the specific video.
Room 2
In the second exhibition hall, I will show two animation works. Both walls are covered with pictures. One of the works is placed in the left corner, and its name is Stay alone. It is placed in a black box, and people need to see it through a small hole. On the right is a kaleidoscope device, I will put an animation behind, people can also use the kaleidoscope to observe the surrounding environment.
Room 3
In the third room I will put a projector to project the work on the wall directly opposite people when they enter, so that the audience feels like entering the work.
Room 4
In the fourth exhibition hall, I will place a device in the center of the room, which will continuously rotate. Its main composition is different human figures made of iron sheets. When the surrounding spotlights shine on it, its shadow will be projected on the four walls. When the audience walks into the room, their shadow will be mixed with the shadow of the installation. This blurs the clear boundary between the concrete person and the environment, and blends the shadow of the visitor with the shadow of the installation, creating an overall atmosphere, and making the visitor a part of the work.
Room 5
In the fifth exhibition hall, I will hang a piece of black cloth, in which someone will perform (the location is limited, just play a video directly), and the spotlight will project the shadow of the performer on the curtain, and the audience can see it. The performance of the shadow is like a Chinese shadow puppet show.
Room 6
I will put two works in the sixth exhibition hall. This exhibition hall created a single room environment, TV, bed, sofa, hanging pictures. The first work is an animation work (Tetris Life). I put it in an old TV (game console) and placed it in a corner. The second work is an oil painting (Absurd World). I show it to the audience as a decorative painting of a room, which also echoes the theme of the entire exhibition. The clock on the wall keeps spinning rapidly, representing the endless loop of time.
